Edith Pargeter’s Brother Cadfael

Brother Cadfael is a fictional Benedictine monk and a detective created by Edith Pargeter, orginally published under her pen-name Ellis Peters. The Cadfael Mysteries series consists of 21 novels, the first of which “The Morbid Taste fro Bones” was published 1977 and the last, “Brother Cadfael's Penance” in 1994.
